Our Mission and Approach
Mission
Our mission is to advance an immigration system that is lawful, predictable, and aligned with America’s national interest. We believe immigration is one of the country’s greatest assets but protecting that asset requires a system that is credible, enforced consistently, and responsive to the economic and civic needs of the nation.
We exist to bring clarity of purpose to a debate too often shaped by political incentives rather than practical outcomes. Through rigorous analysis, coalition-building, and engagement with principled leaders willing to govern, we work to develop solutions that strengthen economic competitiveness, reinforce sovereignty, and support successful integration that ensures immigration remains a complement to American opportunity, not a substitute for it.
Vision
We envision an America where immigration policy reflects serious governance grounded in law, shaped by national priorities, and capable of earning public trust. In this future, immigration is no longer defined by stalemate or symbolism, but by a system that is enforceable, demand-driven, and built to last.
In this system, legal immigration functions as a strategic advantage, aligned with workforce needs and community capacity. Enforcement is consistent and credible, establishing the foundation for durable reform. Integration is intentional, strengthening civic cohesion and a shared stake in the American project. And leadership is measured not by positioning, but by the ability to deliver solutions that are fair, effective, and worthy of the country they serve.
Our Approach
ACE approaches policy questions from a position of principled pragmatism. We believe that sound policy must be grounded in evidence, respect the rule of law, and reflect the values and interests of the American people. Our work spans four core issue areas: sovereignty, civic commitment, economic competitiveness, and merit-based legal immigration.
